Howarth S40C English Horn

Description

Howarth has designed a range of English horns for students and developing players. The S40c English horn is a graduate level instrument designed for the more advanced player. Like the S40c oboe, the S40c English horn features vented plateau keys to help facilitate trills and high note fingerings. The vented keywork also helps to give the S40c its rich, mellow tone. It has metal-lined sockets and metal-tipped tenons to help protect the instrument and to maintain a good fit between the joints. Howarth student English horns are supplied in a Howarth Academy case with matching case cover, and a range of accessories including cleaning materials, cork grease and a reedcase. They are supplied with one bocal per instrument.
