Howarth S40C Oboe

Description

The S40c graduate oboe is designed for the more advanced player. It is a conservatory system oboe with more keywork mechanisms than the S20c, including vented plateau keys. These help to facilitate trills and are also used to extend the fingering options for notes in the higher register. The vented keys also help to give the instrument a more ‘open’ sound. The instrument remains light in weight compared to more advanced models, making it suitable for accomplished young musicians.
