The Fox Model IV was introduced in 1960 and the Model III in 1970. Acoustically, they are patterned after the Fox Model II. Built from molded polypropylene and hand finished by Fox craftsmen, it is one of the most cosmetically pleasing plastic body bassoons. With the option for additional, more professional keywork, this model is appealing to military bands, university music programs and individuals seeking a durable second instrument.
